Vincent Boddie, of Montrose, NY, passed away December 19, 2012, at the age of 51. Born June 6, 1961 in Peekskill, NY to Anna Mae and Vincent Boddie. He is survived by his wife, Betty Lane Boddie, his son, Johnny Rivera (Amy) and grandchildren Ayden and Honor of Los Angeles, his siblings, Al (Lil) of Montrose, Ed "Skip" (Barbara) of Pennsylvania, Anne Michelle of Massachusetts, George (Sue) of New Hampshire brother-in-law Mike of Verplanck, and many nieces and nephews.

Vinnie served 23 years in the military as a Marine and Military Police Officer. He was awarded the Bronze Star Medal with Combat Distinguishing Device "V" in 1991.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to: Veterans Administration Volunteer Services (VAVS), P.O. Box 100, Montrose, NY 10548. Checks can be made out to VAVS.

Mass: Thursday, December 27th, 11am at Annsville Baptist Church, 705 Hudson Avenue, Peekskill, NY 10566, (914) 739-3617. Immediately following the mass please join us in a Celebration of Vinnie's life at the Mount Carmel Society, 8th Street, Verplanck.
