Mrs. Trudie Williams Wagstaff, age 82 of Dunn, died Thursday November 29, 2012 at Betsy Johnson Regional Hospital in Dunn, N.C.
Mrs. Wagstaff was born September 23, 1930 in Sampson County and is the daughter of Judd and Hattie Tart Williams. She is preceded in death by her husband, Billy Wagstaff, a brother, J.W. Williams and two sisters, Retha Norris and Ludie Watson.
She was a member of Leslie United Methodist Church and worked at the Church Thrift Store. She was formerly employed at Powell Manufacturing and then retired from Carolina Wood Turnings.
Funeral service will be held Monday December 3, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Leslie United Methodist Church with the Reverend Donald Seely officiating. Burial will follow at the Greenwood Cemetery in Dunn, N.C.
Survivors include sons Randy Wagstaff of Benson, N.C. and Mike Wagstaff of Dunn, N.C., daughter Lana Wagstaff of Dunn, N.C., grandchildren Angie Glover, Lauren Wagstaff and Chris Wagstaff and great-grandchildren Brittany Glover and William Glover.
The family will receive friends at Cromartie-Miller & Lee Funeral Home in Dunn Sunday December 2, 2012 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM.
