Thomas Flores, age 68 of Adrian went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor.

Thomas was born September 6, 1944 in Zacatecas, Mexico to Feliex and Petra (Friday) Flores. On March 27, 1982 in Adrian he married Kathy Askew and she survives. Thomas was a graduate of Adrian High School and then furthered his education at Siena Heights College. In 1983 he became a Youth Specialist at the Adrian Training School and retired after 25 years of service. He was an avid gardener. Thomas enjoyed drawing and was drawing pictures for each of his family members for Christmas. Thomas was well known for his funny personality. Thomas was a devoted family man and will be truly missed by his wife, children and grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, Kathy, Thomas is survived by four children, Jordan Flores of Adrian, Jennifer (Donte) Howard of Chattanooga, Tennessee, Andres Flores of Adrian, and Tina (Roger) Trombley of Howell; two sisters, Antonia McGee of Adrian, and Janie (Belen, Jr.) Johnson of Jasper; three grandchildren, Maxwell, Ashton and Alex; and special friends, Rick and Barb Vaught. He was preceded in death by parents, three children, Tommy, Lisa and Lori and seven brothers and sisters, Taurino, Joe, Inez, Adrian, Katherine, Marcelina and Lupe.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 1, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home, Adrian with Missionary Jennie P. Ramos officiating. Cremation will follow the service. Visitation will be held on Friday from 4-8 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home, Adrian. Condolences may be sent to the family at
