Teresa Seals, 87 of Vermilion, died Sunday, February 7, 2010 in Specialty Hospital of Lorain, following a lengthy illness.
She was born October 23, 1922 in Tampa, Florida and has lived in Vermilion for over 50 years, moving from Lorain.
Teresa attended Clearview High School before raising and caring for her family. For the past 30 years, she worked as a housekeeper for Lorain Community Hospital. She had a zest for life in all things, but especially enjoyed playing bingo, working and cleaning, and spending time with the family and friends whom she loved dearly.
She is survived by her husband of over 50 years, William G. Seals of Vermilion; daughters, Carole Hodgson of Wellington, Amy Seals of Vermilion and Tina Karres of Vermilion; sons, Mike Bires of Vermilion and Bill Seals of Vermilion; 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; sisters, Ina Oray of Lorain and Dora Lasky of Albuquerque, New Mexico.
She was preceded-in-death by her parents, Ramon and Carolina (nee Garcia) Conde, sister, Ida Trefz and brothers, William and Rudy.
Private family services will be held. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Vermilion.
No photos have been provided by the family or the funeral home.

My condolences goes out to the Seals family at this difficult time. I hope you will find confort in this scripture found in the Bible at Acts 24:15 which gives hope of a rescurrection for our dead loved ones. Dear Carol, I am thinking of you at this sad time in your life. Your Mother sounded like such a wonderful and strong lady and you got that from her. No matter how old we are or our Mothers are, it's always so hard to let them go. My sympathy to Blair and Julie and the rest of your family too.

Our hearts go out to your family at this sorrowful time. Teresa was a very heartwarming and caring lady and Heaven is a better place now that she is there. Hang on to your memories as they will carry you through these very difficult times. Especially to Bill and Billy, Your wife and Mother will be deeply missed but she will be with you always in spirit.
