Sydney Taylor Bruning
May 24, 1995 - February 7, 2013

Sydney Taylor Bruning, our beloved daughter, sister and friend returned to the loving arms of her Savior on February 7, 2013.

She was born to Jeff and Marilyn Wood Bruning in American Fork, UT on May 24, 1995. She grew up in Lindon, Utah as the youngest of three daughters. She was a Laurel in the Lindon 11th Ward where she had just received her YW Medallion. She attended Pleasant Grove High School, and MATC in Lehi, Utah, where she studied just one of many of her favorite!

She enjoyed cooking, baking, dancing, singing, photography, and doing gel nails for anyone who asked. Sydney was born with a kind compassionate heart and contagious bubbly personality. Though she passed peacefully, she left this world as she entered it - with an incredible force that cannot be adequately described. She loved music, and had an incredible singing voice, though she was hesitant to share it (ironic, since she did not have a shy bone in her body).

Syd was the light, and the life of our lives. She had an amazing gift for unconditional love, endowed by her Father in Heaven, and borrowed from both of her grandfathers, Ralph and Lee. She had her own unique way of sharing her testimony and talents with others. If you had been 'touched' by Sydney, it's something you will never forget. She was a never-ending source of love, comfort, kindness, compassion...and fun! She made living fun!

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ralph & Elaine Gardner Wood, and Lee & Marilyn Madsen Bruning, her uncle, Donald Wood, and her best friend Paige Grant. She is survived by her parents, Jeff & Marilyn Wood Bruning, her loving sisters, Kayla & Shelby Bruning, and many, many dear friends and loved ones.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at 12:00pm in the Lindon LDS Stake Center Chapel, 1050 East 100 North, Lindon, UT. A viewing will be held on Monday evening from 6:00-8:00pm at the church and Tuesday morning from 10:30-11:30am prior to services also at the church. Interment will be at Orem City Cemetery, 1520 North 800 East, Orem, Utah.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the account of Sydney Bruning at Mountain America Credit Union, North Orem Branch, 1340 North State Street, Orem, Utah 84057
