Mr. Stanley Graham Uber, age 62, of McDonough, GA passed away January 24, 2013. Mr. Uber was born in Minneapolis, MN the son of the late Glenn Graham and Elizabeth Ann Noeth Uber. He worked for FAA as a computer specialist. He was a member of Eastside Baptist Church. Mr. Uber served his country in the US Navy from 1969-1973. Survivors are his wife, Rebecca Uber of McDonough; children, Kelley Sterner (Brian) of Gainesville, Cathy Knuchel (Brian) of Cartersville, Ted Sowards (Kerrie) of Dayton, OH, and Angela Sowards of Riverdale; 10 grandchildren; brothers, Richard Uber (Cindy) of Adairsville and John Uber (Sherrie) of Roswell; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service for Mr. Uber will be Monday, January 28, 2013 – 11:00 AM in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Hill officiating. Interment will follow at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday evening from 6 – 8:00 PM.
