Shawn C. Hoch, 34, Indianapolis, died at 8:00 a.m., December 24, 2012 at Indianapolis, Indiana. Born 12 May 1978 in Lafayette, Indiana, the son of Brenda Hoch and Victor Hoch. He married Adriana Hoch on 2 August 2003 in Boca del Río, Veracruz, Mexico. He attended primary and secondary school in Cass County, Indiana, graduating in 1996. He received a BS in Secondary English Education with a minor in teaching English as a New Language at Indiana University Bloomington in 2005; an MS in Geographic Information Science at IUPUI in 2008. He was a research associate at Children's Health Services Research, Department of Pediatrics, IU School of Medicine; also at The Polis Center. He enjoyed reading, listening to and collecting music, travel, genealogy, and spending time with family. He was a member of St. Monica Catholic Church. He is survived by wife, Adriana, son, Julian, daughter, Sara; father, Victor Hoch, Kokomo; biological parents Mary Leming and Richard Trent II, both of Lafayette; biological siblings Gabrielle Leming, Chicago, Illinois; Jesse Trent, Indianapolis; Zach Trent, Battle Ground; Richard Trent III, Boulder, Colorado. Funeral mass will be Monday, December 31, 2012, at 11 a.m. at St. Monica Catholic Church, Indianapolis. Friends may attend a wake and viewing on the previous day from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at St. Monica. Memorials to Julian and Sara Hoch.

Shawn C. Hoch, 34, residente de Indianápolis, falleció a las 8:00 a.m. el 24 de diciembre del 2012 en Indianápolis, Indiana. Nació el 12 de mayo del año 1978 en la ciudad de Lafayette, estado de Indiana, EEUU. Se casó con Adriana Delfín Portilla el 2 de agosto del año 2003 en la ciudad de Boca del Río, estado de Veracruz, México. Terminó su carrera de maestro de idiomas en la Indiana University en el año 2005. Poco tiempo después estudió una maestría de ciencias informáticas de geografía en la universidad IUPUI en Indianápolis. Trabajó como investigador en Children's Health Services Research, Departamento de Pediatría, Facultad de Medicina de la Indiana University; también trabajó en la misma capacidad en The Polis Center. Disfrutaba leer, escuchar música, viajar, estudiar la genealogía, y pasar tiempo con su familia. El velorio será el día domingo 30 de diciembre de 4 a 8 p.m. y la misa el 31 de diciembre del 2012 a las 11 de la mañana, los dos en la iglesia de Sta. Mónica, Indianápolis.
