Dear Katherine,
I was extremely shocked to hear the sad news of Ron's passing. He was a dear friend and colleague to me during the two years that I worked together with him at the Sapirstein campus. Ron was a special person and an outstanding educator. We worked hand-in-hand together, day-by-day to maximize each student's potential and provide all students with an excellent education. Even though I moved back to Israel, oftentimes I thought of Ron and remembered him in a fond way. You were lucky to stand behind such a wonderful husband.
May you find strength to cope and to continue your praiseworthy teaching work.
Please accept my condolences and sympathy.
Sincerely,
Yigal Gross
P.S. My son Simchy is also very sad. He sends you regards and condolences.

Ron was always a pleasure to work with. Twenty years ago Ron, Linda Sieman and I wrote the first computer curriculum together. Ron, kindly insisted on leading the way making it one of the best around. I think we worked until 10:00PM that day. Thirty years ago, Beachwood’s open concept Middle School drew visitors from around the world, and Ron and Dave Toldhurst taught in the science pod. I suggested Ron consider becoming a TV teacher on WVIZ. The station created educational programming at the time. He had the kindest manner, teaching children.
I'm sorry his family could not enjoy his presence longer.

I have fond memories of Mr. Wolfe from my son (Avromi's) years at Sapirstein. He was very much in command of the students and I remember some calls where he wisely was disciplining our then rambunctious son. Years later I appreciate the calls from Mr Wolfe and his patience with our son. We also enjoyed seeing him with Mrs Wolfe in our 2nd grade son's science night, as he helped her with the "experiments". He will be missed, and send condolences to the family.

My son Dovie was very fond of Mr. Wolfe and I think it was mutual.
He will be sorely missed.
