37, Of DeSoto, TX went to go with his beloved grandparents, Billie and Howard Speer on Sunday, February 17, 2013. Matt was born August 8, 1975 in Dallas to Mack and Linda Dixon. Matt leaves behind children Matthew Dixon (18) who will begin serving his Country in the Army following graduation this year. Son Jagger Dixon (13) who is following in his father's footsteps as a rising football star and Alyssa Dixon (11) who as always been his angel from heaven whom he shared a bond that only a father and daughter could have. Matt also leaves a fantastic fiancée Amanda Thompson and her daughter Hannah whom he loved very much. They were to be married this year. His mother and Sister Angela and her husband Doye Newsome of Midlothian. Niece, Jessica Smith and nephew, Aaron Newsome of Midlothian, Aunt Debbie and Uncle Steve, cousins Holly Martinez and Thomas Woodard. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to friends and everyone who loved and cared for Matt. We thank God for the gift of Matt's life and the blessings of the time we spent with him.
