Mary Nell Weaver, age 87, of Canton, our precious mother went home to be with her Lord and Savior on February 5, 2010. She was born March 4, 1922 in Dalton, GA., to the late Richard and Nannie Grant. Mary was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Auta; sons, Ronald and Arnold; great grandson, Michael and sister, Sybil Thomason. Mary is survived by her sons, Darrell (Judy) Weaver, Richard (Denise) Weaver, Gary (Tabatha) Weaver all of Canton and Steve (Mary) Weaver of North Canton; daughter, Joan (Robert) Hewitt of East Canton; 20 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren and 4 ½ great great grandchildren; brother, James (Mary Ann) Grant of Smyrna, GA., and sister, Betty (Carl) Sanders of Tunnel Hill, GA. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at 11:00 am in the Reed Funeral Home Canton Chapel with Pastor Henry Dettweiler officiating. Burial will follow in the Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends in the funeral home on Monday, Feb. 8 from 6 to 9 pm. In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to the Bethel Baptist Church 1135 Churchmont SE. Canton, Ohio 44707. Grandma Nell, There are no words to describe how much it hurts to loose you but i know your heaven, happy, with no more pain and for that im greatful. Everyone you met, you touched their lives in one way or another. You are so loved and will be missed dearly. Give a great big hug to uncle aronold, grandpa ronnie, and cousins michael and little gary for me. I love you grandma and you'll forever be in my heart.
