Laura P. "Pauline" (Wolfe) Kosicek, 88, of Apollo, passed away on Saturday, January 19, 2013 at West Haven Manor, Washington Township.

Born September 27, 1924 in Rayburn Township, Armstrong County, she was the daughter of the late James A. Wolfe and Mary Ann (Hodgson) Wolfe.

Pauline lived in the Apollo area most of her life, and was a graduate of Kittanning High School. She worked as a seamstress for Steiner's Manufacturing for several years, retiring in the mid 70's. Pauline was a member of Boiling Springs Presbyterian Church, was a former Sunday School Teacher for several years, and involved in many church activities.

Pauline enjoyed cooking and baking (especially her Christmas cookies), and loved spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, Pauline was preceded in death by her husband: Vindle Kosicek in 1980, grandchildren: MacKenzie Laura Altmire and Caleb Eli Altmire, and siblings: Charles Wolfe, Allene Lemmon, James Wolfe, Lucy Starr, Raymond Wolfe, and Isabelle Atwood.

Pauline is survived by her children: Thomas (Nancy) Kosicek of Latrobe, Mary Ann (Robert) Shirley of Apollo, Linda (Edward) Waitkus of Spring Church, Rose (Kim) Bush of Washington Township, Michael Kosicek of Apollo, Kimberly (Robert) Altmire of Apollo, grandchildren: Laura (Donny) Seybold of Latrobe, Stacey (Peter) Skovrup of Apollo, Lynn (Sean) Phillips of Latrobe, Jeffrey (Nicole) Bush of Upper Burrell, Dana (Matt) Ploskunak of Buffalo, NY, Kelcy (Fiance-Eric Jackson) Altmire of Wilmington, DE, great grandchildren: Stephanie, Noah, Maddie, Kristian, Zachary, Vivian, Joseph, siblings: Kathleen Sinclair of Ohio, Jean McMillen of Kittanning, and many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 p.m. at the Curran-Shaffer Funeral Home and Crematory, 100 Owens View Ave., Apollo. Additional visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 23, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 11:00 a.m. at Boiling Springs Presbyterian Church, Spring Church, with Revered Terri Swails officiating. Interment in Riverview Cemetery, Apollo.
