Larry E. Slagle, age 60, of Olmsted Falls passed away Thursday November 15, 2012 at Southwest General Hospital following a brief illness.
He was born in Washington County, VA. He had resided in Olmsted Falls most of his life.
Mr. Slagle had worked as an electrician for many years.
He truly enjoyed the great outdoors, especially gardening, fishing, hunting, camping and cooking over the BBQ .
He is survived by his wife, Marlene, son Todd (TC) Messer of Hiram, Ohio, daughter Crystal (Tim) Von Alt of North Ridgeville, grandson, Shane Von Alt and sister, Brenda (Willie) Trivett of Damascus, VA.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifton and Josie Slagle, siblings, Bobby Slagle, Ronnie Slagle, Billy Slagle, Darrell Slagle, Phylis Slagle, Barbara Blevins and Rita Slagle.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 2-5 PM at Bogner Family Funeral Home 36625 Center Ridge Rd, N. Ridgeville where services will be held 9:30 AM Monday. Burial will follow in Brooklyn Heights Cemetery.
