Kemp W. Clendenin 88 of Sissonville passed away January 5, 2013.
Kemp was retired from Union Carbide Corporation.
Proceeding him in death was an infant daughter; brother, Kermit Clendenin and sister Viola Wickline.
Survivors include his wife Geneva Null Clendenin; son, Roy Clendenin of Sissonville; daughters, Mary Spencer and husband Charlie of Sissonville and Sandra Kay Nutter and husband Bobby of Gay; brothers, George Clendenin of Sissonville and Walter Clendenin and wife Marlene of Charleston; sister, Nan Mullins of Charleston and sister-in-law, Janet Clendenin of Charleston.
Grandchildren, Nathan Spencer and Kathy Yvonne Fields. Great Grandchildren, Tyler Spencer, Nathaniel and Matthew Nutter and Gabriel Fields.
Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday January 8, 2013 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with the Rev. Gary Blackwell officiating. Private family burial will follow in Clendenin Cemetery, Sissonville.
Friends may call two hours prior to services on Tuesday at the funeral home.
The family suggests contributions to Hospice Care 1606 Kanawha Blvd. W. Charleston, WV 25312 in Kemp's name.
