KATHERINE ANN GERARD (nee Miller) age 47. Katie was the most beloved wife of Matthew A. Gerard; dearest mother of Margaret Anne, Abigail Lindley and Matthew John; beautiful daughter of Joanne and the late Philip Miller; adored sister of Scott Miller (Kristen), Beth Miller, Molly Mohamed (Mike) Martin Miller and Ann Weixel (Steve); daughter-in-law of Margaret and the late William Gerard; loving niece, cousin, sister-in-law, aunt and friend to many. Katie graduated from Magnificat High School in 1983 and St. Mary's College, Notre Dame, IN in 1987. Katie's family would like to thank C.J. Nock, M.D. for his compassionate care, the faculty, staff and students at Harding Middle School where Katie taught science and language arts and her many friends for their outpouring of kindness and love during her illness. Passed away December 17, 2012. Funeral Mass Friday, December 21 at St. Christopher Church, 20141 Detroit Rd. at 11:00 am (EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH). Interment Private Lakewood Park Cemetery. FRIENDS MAY CALL IN THE MCGORRAY-HANNA FUNERAL HOME OF WESTLAKE , 25620 CENTER RIDGE RD. (WEST OF COLUMBIA) THURSDAY 2-8 P.M. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Gerard Children's Education Fund at any Fifth Third Bank.
