Karter Joseph Saiter, 12, of Clinton, was blessedly given his angel wings on 4/29/2012 after a life long illness. His final days were spent surrounded by his family at the Child Serve Nursing Home, Des Moines, Iowa. A memorial service will be at the Shepherd of the Valley Church (3900 Ashworth Road, West Des Moines, Iowa) on Wednesday May 2nd at 2:00 p.m. A visitation will occur one hour prior to the memorial service at 1:00 p.m. A local visitation will also be held Thursday, May 3rd, from 5:00 pm. to 7:00 p.m. at Lemke Funeral Homes - South Chapel (2610 Manufacturing Drive, Clinton). Burial will take place in Laurel Hill Cemetery in Deposit, New York.

Karter was born on December 14th, 1999 in Walton, New York, the son of Kevin and Lynne (Wheeler) Saiter.

He is survived by his Father Kevin (Bridget Fuller) Saiter of Clinton; two sisters - Kristina Saiter of Deposit, New York, Kandace Saiter also of Deposit, New York; 3 brothers - Kevin Saiter Jr. of Clinton, Landon Fuller of Clinton, Mereck Fuller of Clinton; Grandparents Donley and Darlene Wheeler of Deposit, New York, Joe and Sherry Ralston of Clinton, several aunts, uncles and cousins and one niece - Emilee.

He was proceeded in death by his Mother.
