Waltham - Mr. Joseph A. Bryson, Jr., of Waltham, died suddenly on Saturday, February 23, 2013. He was 45.

Joe was born in Waltham on September 20, 1967 and had been a lifelong resident. He graduated from Waltham Vocational High School in 1986 where he learned the welding trade. He worked as a welder for many years at Metal Fabrications and at Barker's Lumber Company in Waltham.

He was a graduate of Massachusetts Bay Community College, Northeastern and Wentworth Institute. Joe was a well-known constable, realtor and part owner of Village Realty in Waltham. There was nothing more important to Joe than spending time with his family and friends and he loved travelling with them to his vacation home in Florida. He had a great passion for old cars and enjoyed taking rides on his Harley-Davidson motorcycle.

He leaves his children, Stephanie M. Bryson and Eddie A. Campana both of Foxboro, his parents, Joseph A., Sr. and Rita E. (Biddy) Bryson of Hudson; his siblings, Lisa Bryson, Steven Bryson, Ronald Bryson and Sharon Bryson all of Hudson and Kevin Bryson and his wife, Linda, of Clinton; his nieces and nephews, Brandon, Alisha, Justin, Alexis, Brayden and Logan; his godfather, Richard Bryson of Bedford and many aunts, uncles, cousins and great friends.

Family and friends will honor and remember Joe's life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Friday, March 1st, from 4 to 8 p.m. and again at 8 a.m. on Saturday morning before leaving in procession to Saint Charles Borromeo Church, 51 Hall Street, Waltham where his Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Burial will follow in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham.
