Jerry W. Burns, Age 64, of Perry, Ohio, formerly of Dallas, Texas, Passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2013 at home.

Born July 30, 1948 in Madison, WV, to Marie (Jarrell) & Harold Burns; married Gretchen Vogel in Madison on 2/1/1969

Jerry worked for Diamond Shamrock/Occidental Chemical as a CPA for 43 years

1966 Graduate of Madison High School, received his BA from Lake Erie College and MBA from Amber University. He served in the U.S. Army as a medic in Germany during the Vietnam War. Jerry enjoyed gardening, golfing and traveling.

He is survived by Wife, Gretchen Burns of Perry
Son David Burns of Plano, TX
Brother Gary (Karen) Burns of Madison
Sister Linda (Terry) McCullough of Stow, OH
Mother-in-Law Dorothy Vogel of Madison
Brother-in-Law George (Polly) Vogel of Perry

He was preceded in death by his Parents

Friends will be received 2-4 PM, Sunday, January 6, 2013, at The Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio. Funeral Service will follow at 4:00 PM.
