Jerry L. "Osh" Cains, age 66, resident of Mansfield died Monday, January 21, 2013 at his son's residence in Shelby.
Born September 27, 1946 in Mansfield to the late Thurman and Georgia (Hamilton) Cains, he had been a Shelby-Mansfield area resident the majority of his life. Jerry was employed with MTD in Willard retiring in 2008.
Osh was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #763. He enjoyed motorcycles, fishing and hunting, loved to dance and hang with his friends.
He leaves behind his son and daughter-in-law, Christopher and Cody Ramey of Shelby; his grandchildren, Rossi and Hayden Ramey, one brother, Jack Cains and many caring friends.
A celebration of Osh's life will be held 4:00PM Saturday, January 26, 2013 at the Shelby Eagles, 46 E. Main St. in Shelby. Food and music will be provided and all friends are welcome. Barkdull Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
