March 12, 1988 - January 27, 2013
Avon Lake, Ohio | Age 24
Jason T. Schaeper, 24, of Avon Lake formerly of Pickerington, passed away suddenly Sunday, January 27, 2013. He was born March 12, 1988 in Columbus and moved to Avon Lake when he was in the third grade.00
Jason graduated from Avon Lake High School in 2006. He also graduated from West Virginia University – School of Journalism and majored in advertising. Jason had an infectious smile and was a fun loving person. He loved being with his friends, watching movies, listening to music, and spending time with his niece Jacey. Jason had a kind heart and was very loyal to anyone fortunate to be his friend and he had many. His friends included many from Avon Lake whether the friendship began in elementary school or his high school days. He enjoyed his time spent down in WVU and developed many friendships and shared many antics.
Jason's loyalty was also present in his girlfriend relationships. He was not the type of person to date around. When he found a girl that he really liked, that like turned into a deep love and he dedicated his time and attention to that one special person in his life. Again, his loyalty was very evident in those relationships.
His survivors include his parents, Jim Schaeper and Terri (nee England) of Avon Lake; brother, Joe Schaeper (Jen) of North Ridgeville; nieces, Jacey and Julia; paternal grandmother, Janet Schaeper of Pickerington; maternal grandfather, Carl England of Pickerington; eleven aunts and uncles; and sixteen cousins. Jason is preceded in death by paternal grandfather, John Schaeper; maternal grandmother Vera England; and aunt Joanne McCaw.
