Helen "Jackie" Brose, 74, of Ironton, Ohio passed away Saturday, February 23, 2013 at Jo-Lin Nursing Home, Ironton, OH. The Pulaski, VA native was born December 23, 1938, the daughter of the late Charles Earnest Morris and Geraldine (Fields) Crumpler.
Helen attended Pulaski High School and a homemaker. She was a member of Sharon Baptist Church, Ironton,OH.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by:
2 brothers: John Wayne Crumpler and Sidney "Jimmy" Crumpler
She is survived by:
5 daughters: Carla Marshall of Ironton, OH, Carolyn Eastham of Ironton, OH, Connie Brose of Ironton, OH, Christine and Mario Drake of Flatwoods, KY, and Tomi and Mark Leibee of Lousia, KY
2 sons: Joe and Hollie Brose of South Point, OH and Rick McCardle of Marion, OH
4 sisters: Mary Jane Wetmore of Fredrick, VA, Joyce Christopher of Petersburg, VA, Judith Renshaw of Petersburg, VA and Janice Bailey of Lillington, NC
1 brother: Jerrol Crumpler of Macon, GA
Visitation will be Tuesday, February 26, 2013, 6:00PM-8:00PM at Phillips Funeral Home, 1004 South Seventh Street, Ironton, OH. A memorial service will be scheduled at later date at the convenience of the family. At the family's request, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Jo-Lin Nursing Home Activity Fund, 1050 Clinton Street, Ironton, OH 45638.
