I ment to leave message but it only left my name George was a great person an a awesome teacher I loved going to the training center when I had George for a teacher he always seemed to go the extra way to make sure your knew what he was talking about and to also make sure u understood it I recently got out of fmoc and starting working for Chevy and about a week ago heard of George's passing

I ment to leave message but it only left my name George was a great person an a awesome teacher I loved going to the training center when I had George for a teacher he always seemed to go the extra way to make sure your knew what he was talking about and to also make sure u understood it I recently got out of fmoc and starting working for Chevy and about a week ago heard of George's passing from another tech my heart goes out to the rest of the family I recently lost my brother almost a year ago and it hurts everyday..

I met George in 1981 when I was selling Mac Tools. He was the shop forman at Almaden Lincoln Mercury. Later when I was a tech at Mission Valley Ford Trucks, I took a lot of classes from him at the training center. Enjoyed everyone. He was a very good instructor, and a good friend. He will be missed. I am unable to attend the service, but my thoughts are with the family and friends.

My deepest sympathy and heart goes out to the Swanson family. George was one of the best instructors at the ford training center. I was a technician in many of his classes and always learned so much from him. He always loved being around the guys telling stories,showing cool car movies and wanting to know how we were doing at our dealerships. Teaching is an art and George had it,i'm proud to have been one of his students and he will be deeply missed.
