Eugene Sanders, age 81, of Russellville, has entered into his eternal rest Monday, February 4, 2013, at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center.
A son of John Randolph and Mary Vasil Sanders he was born October 2, 1931, at New Blaine. He was a member of the First Free Will Baptist Church, the owner of Sanders Real Estate Agency for 42 years and the Dairy Queen for 13 years in Russellville. He was a sergeant first class of the United States Army and served in the Korean Conflict.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Margie Durning; two brothers, James A. and John R. Sanders Jr.; and four infant siblings.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Ina Sanders; two sons and daughters-in-law, Mike and Elaine Sanders and Scott and Rebecca Sanders all of Russellville; three grandchildren and spouse, Audra and Chris George, Savannah and Katie Sanders all of Russellville; a great-grandchild, Hayden George of Russellville; and other nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be at 2 p.m., Wednesday, February 6, 2013, at the Shinn Chapel with the Rev. Billy Ellis officiating. Burial will be private under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service.

The family will receive friends from 4:30 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, at the funeral home.
