FORT WORTH -- Elizabeth Watson, 89, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013.
Funeral Service: 3:00 p.m. Thursday, January 24th in Laurel Land Memorial Chapel. Interment: Laurel Land Memorial Park. Visitation: 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 23rd at Laurel Land Funeral Home.
Elizabeth was born Jan. 30, 1923, in Fort Worth. She was a highly accomplished secretary. She was a gifted pianist who performed for the Jessup Brothers Tent Revivals in the 1940s. She also played for Northside Assembly of God Church and sang in a trio for years on the Charles Jones radio broadcasts.
She was preceded in death by her son, Floyd Watson; brothers, Clyde, Edward, Charles and Donald Van Noy; and sister, Doris Young.
Survivors: Her daughters, Joy Culp and Sue Boenker; sister, Helen Clark; brothers, Raymond, Thomas, Ralph and Marion Van Noy; seven grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
