Devin Scott Marine, 27, of La Quinta, Calif., passed away on January 9, 2013 in Albuquerque, N.M. He was born November 17, 1985 to Scott A. Marine and Patricia N. Marine in Indio, Calif. He was an electrician with Rogers Electric for five years. He served in the U.S. Army from July 2003 to July 2007. He is survived by his daughter, Alexya Marine, age 3 ½, of Indio; his parents, Scott A. Marine and his wife Shelley A. Marine of Cave Creek, Ariz.; grandparents, Peggy and Alan Channing of Rancho Mirage, Calif., and Ron and Margie Odell of Kingman, Ariz.; and girlfriend, Crystal Minton, of Salton City, Calif. He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia N. Marine. Visitation will be 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Friday, January 18, 2013. Services following at 1:00 pm at Forest Lawn 69855 East Ramon Road, Cathedral City, Calif. The family suggests that donations be made to the Leukemia Foundation.
