Dennis James Enslow, 53, of Camanche, IA, passed away on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at the home of his brother in Davenport, IA. He was born on June 14, 1959 in Greeley, CO to Carl & Mary Farris Enslow. Carl died when Dennis was 7 years old and he was raised by his stepfather & mother, Wayne & Mary Malcom. He was a truck driver for many years and was a Harley Davidson Enthusiast. He loved cooking, nature and getting out on the open road.
Dennis is survived by: his step father & mother: Wayne & Mary Malcom of Camanche, IA; 1-son: Justin "JJ" Enslow of Gloversville, NY; 3-daughters: Ashley (Bryan) Parent of Taftville, CT, Wendy "Peach" Enslow of Gloversville, NY & Brenna Enslow of Gloversville, NY; 1-granddaughter: Abreyella Parent of Taftville, CT; 3-brothers: Steve Malcom of New London, IA, Randy Enslow of Davenport, IA & Scott Malcom of Davenport, IA; 2-sisters: Sherry Bubniak of Olathe, KS & Shelley Hoffmann of Andover, KS. He was preceded in death by his biological father.
Friends may call after 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 13, 2012 with the family to receive friends from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon with the funeral service to be held at 5:00 p.m. immediately following the visitation at King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory in Fort Madison, IA. A memorial has been established in Dennis' name and contributions may be left at King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory.
