Johnson, Dale L., of Maryland Heights, Missouri, passed away peacefully at his home on his birthday, early Christmas day, December 25, 2012 at the age of 72. Dale was the beloved son of the late Meril D. and Blanche Johnson; loving father of Jerry Johnson, Julie Johnson, and Michael (his wife Debra) Johnson; treasured grandpa of his two granddaughters, Mindy and Kelly; and dear brother of Thelma Jean (and her husband Larry) Gilson. He is also survived by his former wife and close friend, JoAnn Johnson, her brother Bill Stanislaw, and 5 dear nieces and nephews. Dale was a good friend to Craig Ulrich and Clint Hendricks. He retired from Boeing after serving for 38 years. Dale enjoyed fishing and the outdoors, being with family, friends, and most of all his two granddaughters. Dale will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him. His daughter, Julie, will remember him as "My Father, my hero, my friend", and his granddaughter, Kelly, considered him "My best friend and best Grandpa".
