Charles T. "Teddy" Hebbler, age 59, passed away on Saturday, December 1, 2012. Loving father of Ted Hebbler and beloved son of Margaret "Peggy" Hebbler and the late George P. Hebbler, Sr. Survived by his siblings, Nancy H. Fortier (Fred), Susan H. Frisard (Joe), George P., Jr. (Linda) and Greg (Marion) and many nephews, nieces and friends. A graduate of St. Dominic grammar school, DeLaSalle High School, Charity Hospital School of Radiologic Technology and certification from Ochsner Hospital as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist. A true New Orleanian who cherished his youth growing up in Lakeview, the art, music and ambience of the French Quarter and his travels and days living in the Virgin Islands, Spain, Poland and Isla Mujeres. Teddy never met a stranger, loved his family, and his dear old friends. A free spirit who cherished and loved life and lived it to the fullest. He was a kind, sensitive and caring man who will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Teddy, in his younger days, was a great athlete and he was most proud to be a member of the 1968 NORD-MB Babe Ruth World Championship team and to his selection to the 1971 All State Baseball Team. No matter where he traveled, he faithfully followed his beloved LSU Tigers and New Orleans Saints. Unknown to many, Teddy was an accomplished artist and his paintings have been shown worldwide.
