Mr. Andrew Donald Brown, age 80, of Hampton, GA passed away January 5, 2013. Mr. Brown was born in Hampton, GA the son of the late Andrew Curtis and Miriam Susie Hand Brown. He was a member of Hampton United Methodist Church and a member of the Hampton Masonic Lodge. He served his country in the US Army during the Korean conflict. Mr. Brown was an insurance agent with Met Life for 32 years. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and wood carving. Survivors are his wife of 50 years, Margie Brown of Hampton; children, David and Shari Brown of Hampton, Donna and Bobby Craig of Hampton and Leigh and Ron Schwarzman of Ball Ground; grandchildren, Charlie Brown, Daniel Brown, Will Kenimer, Brittany Craig, Kyle Craig, Sarah Schwarzman and Jacob Schwarzman. Funeral service for Mr. Brown will be Tuesday, January 8, 2013 –2:00 PM at Hampton United Methodist Church with Rev. Mark Burgess officiating. Interment will follow at Berea Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday evening from 5:00 – 7:00 PM. For those who wish in lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hampton United Methodist Church, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or Juvenile Diabetes Association.
