Amy E. (Lawes) Thompson, of Hanover, December 22, 2006 Age 88. Widow Lewis G. Thompson. Loving mother of Sally Tibbetts of Hanover, Shirley Ainslie of Hanover, Edwin Thompson of Pelham, NH, Margaret Tyrie of Hanover David Thompson of Hanover and the late Jerry Thompson. Also survived by 20 Grandchildren 29 Great Grandchildren and 3 Great Great Grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
Amy died Friday in the South Shore Hospital in Weymouth after a period of failing health. She was born in Brownington, VT daughter of the late Ruth (Joslyn) and Sidney Lawes. Before retiring she worked in the office of E. T. Wright Shoe Company in Rockland. She enjoyed many years of retirement in Florida before returning to Hanover in 2004.
