Collins, Winthrop B.. "Bud"81,, of Lutz, passed away on December 15, 2012 at the Veterans Hospital in Tampa. Born in Providence, Rhode Island, he graduated from Bryant College and served in the Army during the Korean War as a P.T. boat driver. He also worked for SCM and moved to Syracuse, New York to open his own office machine sales and service business. Bud was active in the Lions Club serving as president, and a member of Bachelors and Belles serving on their board of directors. Also enjoyed dancing, stamping and watching the sun set at the beach. Survivors include his three children and five grandchildren .Graveside services with military honors will take place Wednesday, January 9,2013 , 11:30AM, at Florida National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the Lions Club. Online condolences may be sent to www.
