Florence Charity Daniels (nee Moes), 95, of Vermilion, died Friday, August 11, 2017 at her home.

Charity was born January 28, 1922 in Amherst. She had lived in Berlin Heights and also in Lakewood for 30 years.
Charity graduated from Vermilion High School and attended Bowling Green State University..

She worked briefly for Philco in Sandusky during WWII. She was a former member of the Pythian Sisters, Berlin Heights and was active in Girl Scouts and civic events in Lakewood. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church and enjoyed ceramics, cross stitch, music, gardening, flowers and traveling. She collected miniatures and was interested in photography.

She is survived by her daughters, Dyan (Dennis) Vennette-Carney of Oregon, Denise (Jeffrey) Yeager of Accokeek, MD, and Deborah (Arthur) Schmitz of Bexley; son, James (Suzzie) Daniels of Hazel Park, MI; 7 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard G. Daniels; parents, Leon and Grace (nee Risden) Moes; sister, Faith Kishman; daughter, Lois Daniels, and brother, James Moes.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 from 10a.m. until the time of a funeral service at noon at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio. The Reverend James Smucker will officiate. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, Vermilion.
