I am deeply saddened by the loss of a wonderful woman who touched our lives in so many ways. Her letters will be memories that we will hold dear and keep her memory alive in our hearts. She loved family and accepted us into her heart and prayers from the day we met. She will be missed by my family but I know she is looking down still offering her support and prayers to all of us whom she loved.

Aloha Maxine!

I only have sketcy memories from back in the 70's while I was at Mound and had Mrs. Lobins as the art teacher. She was a very kind woman and I remember that you just had to try, you didn't have to be the greatest at doing something, just needed to show some effort. My prayers go out to her family.

May God grant you peace in your time of sorrow and may it help to know that my heart too was saddened at the loss of this wonderfully, inspiring woman. My deepest sympathy to all of you.
I remember Mrs. Lobins from my childhood as a student at Mound Elementary. I started having art classes in 4th grade and she was my teacher. I fondly remember a particular project she had the class do. We were to color a sheet of manila paper abstractly and then we brushed the entire paper with shaving cream with black poster paint added to it. After it dried, we were to "draw" a picture using the hard end of a paint brush. I drew a horse in a pasture. Because Mrs. Lobins praised my drawing and made me feel good about my work, I began to have a great interest in drawing. That was back in the mid sixties and I still love to draw today. Mrs. Lobins was an inspiration to this chld and I have remembered her fondly over the years.
Again, my heartfelt sympathy to all of you. Know she will always be watching as she did the students in her charge so many years ago.

My dearest Grandmother~ Not only were you my Grandma and the little ones Great-Grandma, you were also our Guardian Angel here on earth. We miss you so terribly. Bobby and Jeana have so many wonderful memories of you...and little Alex, just a precious few. You and I had such a very special bond, you meant the world to me. You have inspired me in so many ways, you taught me to be a lady, to be compassionate, and to forgive. I am going to miss all of our conversations and the many laughs we shared. I take comfort in knowing, that even though you're no longer physically here, you're always going to be with all of us in our hearts and watching from above. We love you more than words could ever say~ You were the best, beyond compare!

Sleep well, Grandma~ you're now among the Angels.

All of our love~
Jacinda, Bobby, Jeana, and Alexander

I will miss you grandma . I know that you are in heaven watching over me and the kids...... and the whole family. I will miss your visits ... your phone calls... seeing you play with my kids, Its used to put a smile on my face when you would tell Zackery you came to play with him. I'm so glad you got to see Siddalee and Noah. You were a wonderful grandma and an even better great grandma. I love you!

Love Always,
Velma, Jimmy, Zackery, Siddalee and Noah
