Memories & Candles
Marion, Edmund, Sally et al – wish I could’ve been there. My most recent memory of Mary is from 2002, when she graciously directed a driving “tour” of Charleston for Victoria (my significant other) and me, which turned out to be the highlight of our vacation. She will be missed.

When Lawrence and I were married, Grandmere welcomed me into her family wholeheartedly. I think it is a strong testament to Grandmere's character just how much she welcomed my (and my entire family) into hers, particularly considering the times and locations in which she lived. Maybe it's because she was excited to have another Democrat in the family! Grandmere took great efforts to travel to our wedding and to fly to Dallas for my daughter's first Christmas. She loved my

Edmund
Very sorry to hear about your mother
My thoughts are with you
It has been a long time since we have seen each other or talked - hope all else is well
Do you go back to Atlanta often, or are you in contact with any Northside classmates. Would be nice to have another reunion.
Take care - all the very best to you, and regards to Sally

What a loss to all that knew her! Mary was simply a remarkable lady! I knew her mostly thru Marion but on the two occasions I got to be with her in person it was evident there was something special about her. I look forward to furthering our friendship in heaven someday.

Mrs Rhett was a kind jolly lady interested in knowing about all details of conversation. It's as if she knew you for centuries. Mrs Rhett made me feel part of the family in just few meetings.women like her are hard to come by. We will miss her.
