Memories & Candles
Cousin Mary Lee was the velcro that held us all together; I will always remember her infectious laugh, courage, and joy; she was such an incredibly loving woman. I will always remember our time together. She has touched us all. We cannot let the velcro wear, but, rather, must build it up for generations to come in her honor. Love, Amy Throckmorton

Mary Lee was such a joy to be with. As Tom Borgman said, she had a contagious laugh, which almost forced you to laugh with her and be happy. I also remember those late nights at Rick and Mary Lee's, as do other friends of mine. It is just heartbreaking to lose her.

Our thoughts are with the Rinear-Taylor families from the loss of Mary Lee. We are thankful for the yearly OBX vacations that Mary Lee organized so well each year. Those trips allowed us who live so far away to spend time with the family. Mary Lee loved the beach and seemed so at ease and relaxed. She had one rule- no one was allowed to inquire about what time check out was until the night before we had to leave.

Years ago, I worked with Mary Lee at the Cincinati Health Dept. She was a wonderful, caring person who shared her deep love for husband and family with me. She was a good friend and had a great sense of humor. My sincerest sympathies to her family for losing such a warm, exceptional, loving person

I am a friend of Karen and John's. Many years have passed since I have seen Mary Lee, but I remember her very fondly. So very sorry, you are in my thoughts and prayers.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Rick and the boys, and the extended family members of Mary Lee. God decided she struggled enough and called her home. May God wrap his loving arms around each of you through these difficult times.

God decided to bring one of his angels home. It is our loss but his gain he has a plan and someday we will understand but until then we can just pray.
Marylee you will be missed here but it is nice to know I have a friend in heaven

I do not have a memory of Mary Lee I just wanted to express my sorrow for her family and friends. Valerie Rinear is a dear friend of mine and I have heard many wonderful stories of Mary Lee through her. God Bless you all I went through the same thing with my brother in law about 4 years ago and I know that awful pain. The only relief is that she is not suffering anymore and she is in heaven with our Lord.

Mary Lee was a warm, wonderful, compassionate and fun-loving friend for so many years. I was truly blessed to have had her as part of my life. Since moving out of Cincinnati, I did not have the chance to see her often. But some of my fondest memories from the summers of my college years center around Mary Lee's contagious laughter, as me and group of friends gathered in Rick and Mary Lee's home and talked and drank and laughed until the early morning hours. Rick, Matthew and Alex, you have my deepest sympathies for your loss.

Mary lee, I am so very lucky to be able to say we are friends, thru Grade School, High School and adulthood. God only made one like you. I will miss you but will always have the memories that will last forever. My prayers and condolences go out to Rick your son's and the rest of your family. Heaven has gained a remarkable soul and we have lost one here on earth. Until we meet next. Mike Jameson
