Grace, A-Wall, Joey, and Cousin Frankie-
My family and I are so sad at hearing of Joe's passing. I had alot of great conversations with Joe around all the rinks and knew how proud he was of both his boys, and Frankie too.
He was a good man, and I know we will miss seeing him around, but you boys should always know that he's with you when your in the net as long you still love the game, which i hope will be for a very long time.

I just heard about this tragic loss from neighbors in Northern Michigan. I can't say how bad I feel about this and especially for the family. This is a difficult time, I know, based on my own personal experience not long ago.
I am in San Diego and too far away to pay my respects in person but know that my thoughts and prayers are with the Lopez Family.

Grace, Joey and Alec, we are so sorry for your loss. Joe was a great guy to sit and talk to at the rink. He was very nice to our family with us being new to the hockey team and made us feel very welcomed from the first day. Chris always liked when he would walk out of the locker room and Mr Joe would make a joke with him. If at any time you need something our family is here for you. God bless. The Gilbert family

Grace, Joey & Alex.
Your dad was an amazing person. As you already know, your dad has many friends that will miss him but will never forget his sense of humor. When we discussed our ages he was always 39 and would have a good laugh. Grace, in our earlier years Joe would dance circles around us. We will sincerely miss him. We love you.

Grace, Joey & Alec,
Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this time of sadness and untimely loss. The greatest goalie dad ever! He will be missed so dearly by so, so many. All the wonderful memories we all have. Joe was a great husband, dad and friend. God's speed our dear friend. If we have one "goal" in life, it's to be just a little like Joe Lopez. God's winning goal to all of us...Joe! We miss you so very much!
Love and blessing,
Steve, Jill, Taylor & Zakary
