Karen and Barbara and families, I just learned about Merle's passing today. Please know that I am giving each of you a "heart hug". Bless each of you as you grieve his loss.

I knew Merle for so very long. I worked for him, and enjoyed his company as my fathers great friend (BD Solomon). Merle was a really great man, and incredible friend. I recall how he gently played with my daughter, and was always there. Rest my friend, and tell Dad we say "Hi".

Merle was a friend of my dads, (Bennett Solomon, B.D.) who passed away four years ago. Dad spoke highly of Merle and what a good friend he was. I was able to meet Merle when he came to Texas to visit. Merle will be missed by many! Dad and Merle will be able to play the lottery in heaven!
