Janice was a marvelous aunt. She invited us up to her family's homesteaded cabin in Colorado many summers. We enjoyed picking chokecherries for jelly and lazing about in the summer sun swinging in a hammock. She was a marvelous teacher, about cooking, child-care, and a role model as I was growing up.
I'll never forget her.
