I was a friend of Matt & Troy's from John Sevier & Maryville Jr. High. Troy was a very kind & caring person. I had to wear glasses since 1st grade & he would ALWAYS take up for me when needed due to being called four eyes! I knew Troy from Maryville Jr. High. I have plenty of memories of Troy. I said it like this on Facebook: 1982 World's Fair, Maryville Little League, Brown's Creek Gameland, and Mongoose bikes. Troy and I got into some trouble, but we had a lot of fun. Something about a friend from our youth. They always stay close to our hearts. May God bless and comfort his family. He was way too young and he will be missed.

My heart was broken when I heard Troy had gone missing, and torn when I heard they had found him. I have known Troy since middle school days, and reconnected with him later in life. I have many fond memories of him, because of him I will never in my life be able to drink LI Tea again...He will be greatly missed by myself, and his photography is a thing of beauty, I hope anyone who has any of his work will display it with pride..At last your mind is Free Troy...I'll miss you....

Troy was loved and cared about very much. His passing was way too soon but none of us know God's plan or how long we will be around. I can say in words how much sorrow I feel but Marty & Matt know my prayers are with them and how much they are loved.

Marty: Losing a child is beyond my comprehension, so there are truly no comforting words that I have except that I love you as a friend and share your loss as only friends and mothers can, please know you and your loved ones are in my prayers. If there is anything that I can do for you or your family, please let me help. I miss you and hope to see you soon.
