Lucy DiMaggio Puissegur passed away on Thursday, January 24, 2013 at the age of 74. A native of New Orleans and resident of Mandeville for 24 years. Beloved wife of the late Rene Ferdinand Puissegur Jr. Loving mother of Rene J. Puissegur (Kim) and Jo Ann Puissegur. Devoted grandmother of Jonathan, Evan and Kellee Ann. Sister of the late Jake DiMaggio (Dolly). Aunt of John (Nancy) and Mark DiMaggio. Daughter of the late Josephine D'Antoni DiMaggio and John DiMaggio. Also survived by many cousins and relatives. A former employee of Bell South and Avon. She was an active member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish. She loved her family and attending Mardi Gras parades with them.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Greenwood Funeral Home Chapel, 5200 Canal Blvd., New Orleans, (formerly All Faiths), on Saturday, January 26, 2013 at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM.
