Mr. William Joseph Bonica

William Joseph Bonica was born Mother's Day, May 13, 1984 in Tonasket to his loving parents Laura Stanley and John Bonica and proud sister Anna Patterson.

William was a joyful child who enjoyed riding bikes, playing in the mud, spending time at the river and lakes and dancing to Janet Jackson's "Rhythm Nation."

He was blessed with the kindest soul, biggest heart and the ability to see the best in every person he met. William had a special connection with young children which enriched both his life and theirs. From an early age he felt a great love for all animals; the dogs throughout his childhood and his faithful companion "Smokey" were some of the great loves of his life.

He was a gifted artist, musician and dancer.

He loved his family unconditionally and was a beautiful part of every holiday, birthday party and family gathering. He filled the kitchen with wonderful smells from his cooking, he hugged so that you felt it the next day and looked everyone in the eye when he told them he loved them. His nephew, Enzo, saw his Zio and smiled the biggest of smiles and his young friend Lucas said, "Will was my best friend."

William is survived by his Mother, Father, Sister, Brother-in-law and Nephew; his Grandmother, Aunts, Uncles and many Cousins. He joins his Nonno, Nonni, Aunt Charlotte, Grandpa Bill and his best friend Joe.

A service will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church (732 18th Ave. E., Seattle), Friday, January 25th, at 5p.m. Reception to follow.
