Jim Goode or Mr Goode to me, will always be my favorite teacher! He was a wonderful teacher, but more important he was a wonderful man! He loved his wife and talked about her in such a way, I will always remember wanting to name a baby girl Billie Rose. Just the way he looked when he spoke of her made her sound beautiful as she was. He was not only my home room and photography teacher, but I was

Greg, Aimee, and Nick.. I was so sorry to hear of Jim's death. Through the years he has meant so much to me. I had him as a teacher at R-S Central. And, also weekly as our families worshipped together at Southern Baptist Church. Your dad was a wonderful person and I cannot remember a time when he wasn't smiling or laughing. He always had a hug for me and a kind word. I know he will be greatly missed and I want you to know I will be praying for you in the days ahead. I love you all.

I am deeply saddened to hear of Jim's passing. He was a wonderful person. So kind and amazingly smart. I know that he and Billie are together in Heaven. He was someone very rare today, a truely good man.

I was so sorry to hear about Jim. I spent many happy years at Central with him as both his teacher and a colleague. He dedicated his life to teaching and guiding our youth in the school and the community. I am very sorry that I cannot be there tonight but know that my thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Greg, Amiee, Nick, and Bailey. I am so sorry for the loss of your dad and granddad. Your Dad and Mom were very special people who left a lasting impression on everyone they met. I can not think of Southern Baptist Church without thinking of Jim. He was always there since I was a teenager attending church there. May God bless all of you.

You started out teaching me in the 9th grade, what an amazing teacher.
Then years later when I came to Southern, you invited me to be a puppeteer, that was some of the best years of my life. You and Billie helped me learn so much and taught me so much. You became my mentor and friend. Thank you Jim Goode for all you did, you were an amazing person. To all the Goode family, thank you for sharing your Dad with all of us.Heaven has gained a very special person.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Greg, Amy, Nick and Bailey. I am very sorry that I will not be able to be there for you during this difficult time. Please know that your dad and mom still mean a great deal to me and that I have been blessed to be apart of both of their lives.

Thank you to the Goode family for sharing your dad with all of us. He gave us the most precious gift of all his christian love for others. He loved his Lord, family, church and all people. It wasn't what you had but what you had to offer. Advisor he was. If you didn't want the truth then you didn't ask Jim Goode. The God who is GOOD all the time looked down on Friday and said, Jim , you
