Lottie Lee Climer

Lottie Lee Climer, age 74, of Montverde, Florida, passed away on Saturday, December 29, 2012, after courageously and gracefully battling illnesses for several years.
The celebration service of Lottie Climer's life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at her beloved First Baptist Church of Montverde, 17409 8th Street, Montverde, Florida. Pastors Jonathan Winningham and Don Knight of First Baptist Church of Montverde will be officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday evening, January 4, 2013, from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at Baldwin-Fairchild Funeral Home, 428 East Plant Street, Winter Garden, Florida. Burial will follow the celebration service at Highland Memorial Gardens, 3329 East Semoran Boulevard, Apopka, Florida. Service arrangements are being handled by Baldwin-Fairchild Funeral Home.
Lottie Lee Climer was born in Chicago, Illinois on November 1, 1938. She was one of nine children. She is survived by two of her sisters.
Lottie was married to Melvin Climer on September 22, 1979; they were married 31 years.
Lottie was actively involved in her church, First Baptist Church of Montverde, until the time of her passing. She enjoyed cooking, sewing and taking care of others. She spent much time with her precious dog, Missy, who she loved greatly.
Her loving husband, Melvin Climer, precedes Lottie in death.
Lottie is survived by her sons, Dennis K. Smith (Cindy) of Tavares, Florida and Steven W. Smith of Orlando, Florida, daughters, Sharon R. Garl (Brian) of Smyrna, Tennessee, Vicki Johnson (Harry) of Burns, Tennessee and Tonya Rice (Jay) of Winter Garden, Florida and stepdaughters, Rosella Climer (Marty Tate) of Durand, Michigan and Lenora Acord (Tom) of Durand, Michigan. Seventeen (17) loving grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild also survive Lottie.
Her dear friend, Dorothy Kuhlman of Montverde, Florida, who is family to Lottie and her children, survives her.
Lottie left behind a host of friends and will be missed greatly by her very close church family and friends, who are celebrating her faith and are looking forward to seeing her again in heaven.
