I really loved my uncle Harold so much...losing him is like losing my own father (Frank) all over again. My loving thoughts go out to Vera and all my cousins. I am fortunate to have so many great memories of him and he was the most interesting man I ever met. He was so kind and loving and had a great sense of humor. Even though he will be greatly missed here, I am so happy that he is now with his mother, father and all his brothers and sisters again. We'll always love you and miss you.

Loved my Uncle Harold. A man, so much like my own father, Harold's brother. Such great fun and food when we would visit with him and Vera. Loved Uncle Harold's sausage gravy and biscuits. Such fun making sure we shuffled cards and dealt just the way he said. I will miss you Uncle Harold; I love you very much!!!

Harold, as he was known to his Virginia family, was truly a wonderful person that was loved by all of us. For me he was a strength during my Mom's passing in Sept 2001. My mom wanted so much to see Harold again, and once we were able to locate him, he came to Dublin to see his "Aunt Gret" and made her extremely happy in her last few weeks. He sat beside her and looked at old family pictures

I was so sorry to hear about uncle H.O. passing he was a great man who touched many peoples hearts. I am so grateful that I got the blessing to call him uncle. I am praying for all his family and friends especially aunt Vera and all of his kids and grandchildren. Love you all
