Memories & Candles
I have some great childhood memories of Don and Peggy Garrett and all the kids. I've thought about you all often over the years. I'll be thinking of you today and what a good man he was. Sorry for your loss.

Our hearts go out to your family. May you be comforted in the fact that Don is walking strong in the hands of the lord. Our father in heaven will always be our salvation, and never give us more than we can bare. God bless you all.
Loving, Greg and Patty Groce

Uncle Don will always have a special place in my heart. He was like a grandfather to me. I have fond childhood memories of waking up in the morning and hearing Don and Peggy's and Uncle Bill's laughter coming from our kitchen. They always had the best stories to share. Even three weeks ago, when I visited Don, he told me how he had caught his first fish, with a diaper pin for a hook! He will be sorely missed.
With love from his Flower Girl,

Although I did not spend much time with Don, my sister-in-law "Toots" is very special to me and I am so sorry for the loss of her father. I do know that Don was a wonderful father and that he passed down his compassion to the family and will be sorely missed. Please accept our heartfelt condolences for your loss and that you are in our prayers.

Don was always so pleasant whenever I would see him. I never heard him say an unkind word to or about anyone.

Those we love don’t go away, they walk beside us every day, unseen, unheard, but always near, still loved, still missed and very dear.
