My heartfelt condolences to the Irwin family. I was in the class of '72 at Lakota and remember Mr. Irwin well. May God bless you all with wonderful memories and HIS peace and comfort.

Karen and family, We are blessed to have known Larry for about ten years as a friend and neighbor. He will be missed for the smile he had for everyone. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family at this difficult time.

I was very saddened to hear of Mr. Irwin's passing, it had been many years since I saw him but he always stood out in my mind as a great principle and a caring human being. I am so very sorry for your loss may God comfort you in this time of sadness.

I was so sorry to hear of Mr. Irwin's passing. He was my teacher at Hopewell
Elementary. I want to offer my sincere condolences and let you know I am praying for your family. Mr. Irwin was a wonderful teacher. He helped to make my days fun when I was in the seventh and eighth grade. He was one of my favorite teachers. I am so, so sorry to hear of his passing. May God grant you the peace that passeth understanding as you go through this difficult time.

I am sad to hear that Mr. Irwin is gone. He was an awesome high school principal (St. Bernard-Elmwood Place H.S. 1989-1991) and had a definite positive impact on my life. I will never forget the fun times, including graduation when Mr. Irwin participated in pulling a prank on me by giving me a diploma that said "(refusal to sign)" in all of the spaces where the school and board leadership were supposed to sign. Im so sorry for your loss. He was a great man to have know in my life. I have a picture of him with me and my mother at my graduation in June of 1988. He will be missed.

I was a colleague of Larry's at Lakota High School from 1971-1978. I am saddened to hear of his death. May God be your comfort and strength.
