Richard, I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Augusta. She was such a lovely lady and although I never got the opportunity to know her, I can see she was a supportive, loving and caring person. Please know you will be in my prayers and thoughts and you have many friends who will be thinking about you.

I was so sorry to learn of Augusta's passing. She was one of the first true southern ladies I met when our young family moved to the Church Creek subdivision nearly 25 years ago. Often housebound with 3 young children (2 with disabilities), I looked forward to the visits from my Avon lady. We became friends but lost touch when she moved from the neighborhood. Whenever I would see her around town she was the friendly & lively woman I

I am so thankful to be blessed by Augusta's friendship. I will miss her warm smile, unbounding energy, and love of life. We shared so much together; soccer games, Kanuga road trips, Mother-Daughter bible studies, DOK, women's retreats, Cursillo happenings, Bonco Babes, and the list goes on and on. I love her so much and will miss her profoundly. I am changed forever by her love.

Mr. Richard and Ren, I want to offer my heartfelt condolences for your loss. Mrs.Augusta was such a special woman who is greatly missed. She was such a great example of a Christian woman! She taught me do much through the years by words and example! Thank you do much for sharing her with us! I will miss her but I know she's watching from Heaven! I love you both and are always thinking of you.

Much love and a big hug,
Diana L. Carlucci Bailey and family

I am deeply saddened to hear of Augusta's untimely passing. I have such wonderful memories of the times we spent at the lake, slumber parties, and as roommates in Charleston. She was so genuine & full of life & always had a beautiful smile on her face. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to Richard, their daughter, Mr. Ervin, Edward, & all if her relatives. She will be truly missed.

Augusta was a true treasure . We met when she offered to host an exchange student many many years ago and to place students in the area. We had such fun with the students .

Later in life, we met again working with and helping a friend and local cater
West Ashley. It was actually around Thanksgiving time as we had lots of turkeys and hams to help with in the area. Augusta always had a bright smile and such a warm and loving disposition for all.

We should pause to remember how special she always made everyone feel.

From the time I met Augusta in Elementary school, I have always been touched by her smile, her laughter, and her ability to make those around her feel loved and accepted! We enjoyed sharing so many high school memories when I last saw her at a Class of '69 reunion. I will always cherish those special times. I extend my deepest sympathies to her family and friends.
