So sorry to hear of Bill's passing. Trust that you will excuse us for not attending his service. Take solace that he is in a better place and God willing we will see him later.
Love,
Ed and Mary

"Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. You know the way to the place where I am going." ~ John 14:1-4

Dear Major Betty and Susan,
My heart goes out to you both. I know that Bill's passing came so quickly and must have taken you by surprise. I pray that as you go through this time of mourning and grief that you'll find the peace of Christ filling your hearts and spirits.
Affectionately yours,
Lisa

See you with my eyes

Bill was such a wonderful and thoughtful friend and neighbor. I can remember many times working or playing in the front yard with the kids, and Bill would come out of his door, stop and smile, and greet me and each of the kids, asking how we are doing, and engage the kids with his gentle warmth and laughter. He will always be remembered and cherished.

I remember vividly Bill's great interest in the MIssion Hill Triangle neighborhood and his efforts to make the place better. His handiness with engineering problems was a given, and he was always happy to offer his expertise. I'm so glad to have known this gentle person.
