So sorry to read of Margaret's passing. All of you bring back such good memories. But I didn't even know all your wonderful mother accomplished until I read the obit. I retired in August and bought a house in Florida. Otherwise, I would have been at the funeral.
She was a wonderful lady. You have such a beautiful garden of memories she planted for you. Hope you will enjoy those memories for years to come.
PS. Hello Mike. Would have loved to have seen you.

My condolences to the family of Margaret. She was such a help to me when I was a new Extension Agent. She would counsel without lecturing and could joke and cajole to get a point across to you. She, and the "senior agents" in the Southern District, were always quick to answer questions and be helpful in any way. Even after her retirement, she was anxious to know about how things were going and how you were doing as an

I will always cherish the time I spent as Margaret's Pastor and friend. We traveled to many meetings together in the county when I served as Pastor of Carr Memorial United Methodist Church. I spent much time with Margaret and each of you after Bob's death. My thoughts, prayers and deepest sympathy are with your family in this time of great loss. I know Margaret will be miss by all because she made a great contribution of herself to the lives of all she met. Margaret loved her life and enjoyed everyone she met.
May God Bless Each of You

Peggy has been a part of my life for nearly 50 years. Our families shared picnics and trips to the beach. As her daughter-in-law she encouraged my many interests, especially quilting. We shared early morning coffee and conversations, family stories, travel adventures, and a love of reading. Though I was no longer her daughter-in-law, I was always welcome in her home as a friend. What a gift from a remarkable woman!

My kindest regards to all members of the family of this wonderful professional. Reading Margaret's final tribute reminds me of the greatness of our WVU Extension Service program and the folks who made it work so wonderfully down through the years. Margaret is so typical of the people who dotted my 30 year career at West Virginia University. Always cordial ... an expert in her subject matter who could truly extend the great resources of West Virginia University to people
