Daniel always practiced the concept of One Love. He forever will exemplify stoke and Aloha. His spirit lives on in the waves. We miss you so much here on earth Daniel, but surfing will always keep you close to us.

daniel will forever be missed. i remember all the good times at the cardiff campground. daniel, shawn and eric hanging out. always good times. eric is very sad to lose a friend so young. he will always be remembered for his smile. our hearts go out to his family but especially to shaunda and greg. RIP daniel.

I can only imagine the pain at losing a child so young. It doesn't seem to be in the right order....we as parents go first. My love and prayers are with you Shaunda.

I miss Daniel more than words can express. My heart aches every day.
I love him just like a son.
When I see the turquiose blue ocean, I think of his beautiful loving eyes and
him surfing a wave with such talent, grace.
When I feel the sunshine, I think of his warm, wonderful smile.
When I see a bird soaring or a dolphin swimming or I feel a warm breeze,
I feel Daniel's energy and spirit, so intensely.... :)

i will never ever forget you my little buddy...you were such a fun kid to hang out with and made my entire house of kids laugh, dance and dream...i really don't remember you ever even crying, only laughing and playing and eating..snack time was your favorite and i will never forget you and your smile. shaunda and greg, even tho you had daniel for such a short time you were truly lucky to have had such an awesome BOY! i know we will all play again someday. love you danno...peggy and family

Shaunda and Greg, I can't even try to express enough my sorrow that I feel for you. My heart is aching so bad, I can't imagine how you must feel. Daniel was a true good soul. He didn't have a mean bone in his body and his smile, as you know, was enough to melt our hearts. I know my memories of his beautiful smile will warm my heart forever. To my daughter Shaunda & Greg.
I've been very sad and heartbroken to realize that our dear Daniel has left us so soon in his very tender age. He was my youngest grandchild out of six and I had such high hopes that he would become a top salesman like his grandfather, Bill. I miss him so much and look for him walking his dog along the streets in Cardiff. I shall forever remember his shy way to talk and smile at me. I love him so much. Your Grandmother, Irene
