Aunt Fanny was one of a kind, so special, so loving, so giving and a role model to everyone who knew her or who had the lucky fortune to come into contact with this lovely women. So saddened to hear of her passing. She was a kind and gentle woman with a strong faith. I have many fond memories living across the street from the Dessoffys for 21 years on State Road. Many years after marrying and moving away, I ran into her as my sons were at Incarnate Word Academy. She told me she went there weekly to help an elderly nun. That in itself is a testimony to her goodness.
